The Thought...

The spooky trees

It was a overcast day when I visited the caves at Peak Cavern, known as 'The Devil's Arse in the Peak District. The trees looked spooky, birds were flying. The atmosphere was very erry. I took this photograph outside the entrance of caves, by pointing the camera up to the sky.

I always photograph in colour, it was changed to black and white and increased the contrast in Lightroom.

Tip of the week

Tip of the week - 26th February

Sunsets

To capture the sunset, you need to act quickly as it would normally set in minutes. Set the camera on aperture priority mode at f11 or f16. Cameras which do not have the Aperture Priority mode will often allow selecting different scene settings, such as ‘dusk/dawn’, ‘nightlight’ or ‘sunset’ modes (experiment which of these modes works best for your image).

Peak Cavern - (The Devils Arse)

The photographs below were taken in Peak Cavern - (The Devils Arse) in Peak District.
The trees, the birds and the atmosphere already gave these images an eerie feeling they have slightly been adjusted to enhance the ghostly atmosphere.
