The Pink Place Summer Picnic - June 2015

I took some photographs at The Pink Place's summer picnic on June 20.06.2015, as their official photographer.

The Pink Place is a registered charity set up to assist the well-being of those who have experienced or are experiencing cancer in the North Hampshire area.

The Pink Place has various events happening through out the year, I  turn up with my pink t-shirt, my camera, a smile and NO business cards. (I will only hand out my business card if someone has asked for it - the cards are usually in the camera bag)

I just walk around the event, introducing myself to everyone individually who I am, why I am taking these photographs and where they will be able to see them. (It's usually on the Pink Place Facebook).

Below are a few photos from the picnic

Please note that all the photography for the Pink Place is for free and I am very glad that I got to be part of this wonderful team of volunteers.

Thank you so much for coming along this afternoon. I am so grateful that you came along at such short notice and stayed for an hour. I was expecting you to come along and take a couple of photos and be on your way. Thank you for taking so much time and detail of all of the projects we did today and the cards on my boards.

I am so grateful and can't wait to see the results.

"WOW! What a professional service! I would thoroughly recommend Ghatahora Photography. Nothing was too much trouble for Bhupinder. Although I tensed up, she knew exactly the right words to say to put me at ease. What a warm-hearted, flexible and lovely soul. The photos are just perfect. Thank you so much" Debs Wallace - Harmony Counselling Limited

Corporate Photography
We were extremely impressed with the professionalism and patience shown by Bhupinder during the recent photo shoot which she conducted on our behalf. The task was made more difficult for her as it involved a wedding shoot with a 'bride and groom' who were total strangers to each other (and were not models by profession), combined with two very excited and 'bouncy' 2 and 4 year old's with bunches of balloons! The results were some exceptional photos which captured the exact essence of what we were trying to achieve.

The Pink Place Presents a Fashion Show

The Pink Place held a charity fashion show on Thursday 3rd October 2013 at the Bishopswood Golf Course.

It was a popular event with many ladies attending, all dressed up for a spectacular night out.

The fashion show started at 8pm, with models dressed up to show a range of clothes from brands such as 'My Occasions and Marks & Spencers'. The clothes worn varied from skinny jeans, evening wear, office wear and also leather jackets for all ages to create a biker look. It displayed an amazing coordination of clothing, colours and accessories and was coordinated by a fashion stylist, Lisa Talbot. The colour contrast was carefully thought over to make the models look elegant.

As for the footwear, the models wore a selection of boots, courts and evening heels supplied by 'Just Another Pair'. Each were unique and different in their own way and suited the model’s outfit.

There were several stalls selling jewellery, Christmas cards, shoes, accessories and message services.

It was a fun and spectacular night.
